Software Overview
We have supplied a gas and electricity trading platform to two power stations in
Ireland now. This software will predict gas usage based on weather forecasts. The
plants can then purchase gas in advance to achieve the best purchase price.
The software also predicts electricity prices, confirms that the power plant is
being paid for every MW of electricity it generates and ensures it is not being charged
too much for the gas it consumes.

By accurately predicting requirements and sending timely and accurate orders to suppliers this software can potentially save thousands of euro per day. The software also automates a lot of work that was formerly completed manually in Excel worksheets by engineers in the power plants. These engineers are now free to work on operation
matters.
